Tips for Mac OS X



Here are some tips I made to share with fellow Mac OS X users. I will try to add some as often as I can. (sorry if my english is bad, I'm french).

	• Activation de sendmail dans Jaguar (Mac OS 10.2)
		Le script avec les instructions : sendmail-activ-fr.tar

	• Activation des onglets dans Safari (toutes versions)
		Fichier pour activer la navigation par onglets dans Safari (toutes versions) : activ_onglets.term.sit

	• Fichiers de localisation pour Safari 1.0ß (v67)
		Fichier pour ajouter la localisation française à Safari 1.0ß (v67) : safari_b67_fr.sit

	• Fichiers de localisation pour Safari 1.0ß (v62)
		Fichier pour ajouter la localisation française à Safari 1.0ß (v62) : safari_b62_fr.sit

	• Lanceur pour X11 en clavier français (pour le portage X11 d'Apple et Mac OS 10.2) (X11 French Keyboard launcher for Apple X11 port) and Jaguar (Mac OS 10.2)
		Le fichier .term qui permet de lancer X11 : X11.term.sit

	• PHP4 installation in Jaguar (Mac OS 10.2)
		Les instructions en français : activ_php4_fr.rtf
		English instructions : activ_php4_en.rtf

	• PC Tools
		The new release of PCTools is here ! New package with binchunker, unARJ and unACE (no longer unRAR). Work now under 10.2 (tested under 10.2.5). UnACE work only with old ACE files, this "public" release is too limited to work with recent files (like ACE v2). The developement of PC Tools has stopped because I haven't got enough time to work on it. Don't be afraid, some other users have made so useful softs that made the same things (often better). the new package, PCTools 1.1 (Mac OS X 10.2 min. required) : PCTools_1.1.dmg To unRAR : get GUI unrar (UnRarX) at : http://webpages.charter.net/kyngchaos/software/ or get the official shell port : http://www.rarlab.com/rar_add.htm To burn .bin/.cue CD images (but not convert to iso like binchunker) : get GUI cdrdao (MissingMediaBurner) at : http://homepage.mac.com/rnc/ If you always need binchunker, unRAR and unACE (terminal version only) : get my (old) package of PCTools 1.0 : PCTools.pkg.sit
